Life is a lot like a game of Monopoly, and just like the pieces on the board, I, as an INFP, can certainly find my passion.
If my career changes were Monopoly properties, I’d have more real estate than the richest tycoon in town. Yes, I was the notorious career chameleon, constantly circling the board without landing on that one ideal property.
I got married, had a beautiful daughter, and yet, I still felt like I was just rolling the dice of fate.
But things started to change the day I got retrenched.

Getting laid off might have seemed like landing on the dreaded ‘Go to Jail’ space, but I saw it as a ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card to reinvent myself.
It was the universe’s way of saying, “Hey, it’s time to reshuffle the deck!”
So, I decided to take my turn and dabbled in various “properties”, from selling crystal terrariums to curating framed crystal grids and even hosting virtual meditation sessions.
It felt like I was tossing the dice to see which “property” would yield the most profitable rent. But despite my new “property acquisitions”, there was still an emptiness on my Monopoly board.
My INFP personality made it terrifying to advance too far on the social media track. So, I decided to take a detour, pausing to rediscover my passion and motivation.

I was so excited to build my digital journal empire, incorporating mindfulness, creativity, and aesthetics into my “properties”.
These journals were like hotels on Boardwalk, perfectly matching my personality and allowing me to focus on self-care, parenting, and maintaining my household without constantly worrying about those pesky “online fees” or “property upkeep”.
My digital journals became the luxury tax on my Monopoly board, a reflection of my journey as a mother, a crystal enthusiast, and showing up as a confident INFP individual exploring my path of self-discovery.
I put my heart and soul into designing “properties” that resonated with like-minded individuals.
